THE STACKING BENJAMINS SHOW JOINS WESTWOOD ONE PODCAST NETWORK

Sister Show “Money with Friends” also Moves to WWO

NEW YORK, NY – May 6, 2020 – CUMULUS MEDIA’s Westwood One today introduced the award-winning podcast The Stacking Benjamins Show, with host Joe Saul-Sehy and co-host Josh Bannerman (aka Other Guy or OG) teaching listeners about personal finance through headlines, guest experts, and plenty of humor. The hour-long, magazine-style show drops each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Since 2012, The Stacking Benjamins Show has used the science of play to make finance more approachable, interesting, and fun. While some podcasts hope to be the final expert in the chain of money lessons, The Stacking Benjamins Show aims to introduce listeners to the broad spectrum of fantastic ideas, concepts and technologies available that can help lock in a better financial future.

Spin-off personal finance show Money with Friends also launched on the Westwood One Podcast Network yesterday, publishing each weekday. Hosts Joe Saul-Sehy and Bobbi Rebell are joined each season with a rotating cast of thought leaders. The partnerships bring fresh perspectives and unique insights to the personal finance news and issues discussed on the podcast.

The Stacking Benjamins Show and Money with Friends are available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn, Pocket Casts, and Google Podcasts among other platforms.

We are proud to welcome The Stacking Benjamins Show and Money with Friends teams to the Westwood One Podcast Network,” said Suzanne Grimes, EVP Marketing, CUMULUS MEDIA and President, Westwood One. “These well-known, highly entertaining, and extremely successful podcasts are important additions to our Business, Money & Tech portfolio, and we are excited to back them with the full force of Westwood One.”

“I’ve personally listened to sports on Westwood One since I was a kid working in the garage with my dad. It’s thrilling and comforting to think that, years later, OG, Bobbi, Doug, and the rest of our team are joining a part of that same family, spreading financial literacy,” said Saul-Sehy. “While Stacking Benjamins may be light and playful, and Money with Friends has a distinctly conversational tone, we’re all very serious about helping people learn how money works. Westwood One Podcast Network allows us to help more people weather this current financial storm and whatever might come at us in the future.”

The Stacking Benjamins Show is an Academy of Podcast winner for “best business podcast of the year” and the 2017 Plutus award winner for “best personal finance podcast”. The Stacking Benjamins Show was recommended by Kiplinger magazine in their 2017 “Best of” issue, TheStreet.com named the show one of the “10 Best Investing Podcasts of 2019” while U.S. News and World Report called it one of “The Top 15 Personal Finance Podcasts to Follow”.
